WORDS OF INSPIRATION
"Have You Seen Him?"Today’s lesson from chapter 12 in the book of Zechariah brought to the forefront something we all need to consider especially as we minister to the lost, the left out, the unchurched or the unbeliever. Zechariah 12: 10 says: “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced.”(my italics). In order to choose Jesus, to receive His grace and mercy —-we must see Him. In order to repent we must acknowledge, we must “see” Him. We must “see’ that it was the King of Kings whose head was pierced by a crown of thorns set on him to mock His kingship. We must first be able to “see” that He who was sentenced to death for claiming to be the Son of God was indeed “…God’s only begotten Son…” We must “see” that He who suffered excruciating pain and disgrace humbled Himself under the Hand of God that we might have the right to choose Him as our Lord and Savior—-have YOU seen Him, yet?
